FATHOM CCR Tech Diver

Upon successful completion of this course, divers are considered competent to plan and execute closed circuit rebreather dives to 45 m with up to 30 mins of planned decompression utilizing utilizing helium-based breathing gas mixtures and a single decompression gas.

Prerequisites

  • FATHOM Medical Screening
  • Dive accident insurance
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Certified FATHOM CCR Diver with 25 logged CCR dives

Course outline

The CCR Tech Diver course is normally conducted over five days. It requires a minimum of eight dive sessions and at least forty hours of instruction, encompassing lectures, land drills, and at least eight hours of dive time.

Course parameters

  • 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio
  • Maximum depth of 45 m
  • Maximum planned decompression of 30 mins
  • One decompression gas
  • Two open water dives to at least 40 m
